Another culprit in the scheme is Despina, who was portrayed by the magnificent Metropolitan Opera artist Korliss Uecker.
Marzelline, sung by Korliss Uecker, sings the first big aria with appealing freshness. The exquisite quartet that follows is one of the high points of operatic beauty.
